Dior Beauty DJ: Where Luxury Meets Sound

I had the incredible honor of DJing for the annual Dior Beauty Conference at the world-renowned Trump Turnberry resort. Nestled along the stunning Scottish coastline, this event was the epitome of luxury, sophistication, and elegance. I was booked to DJ four nights for the fabulous team at Dior Beauty and it was an absolute dream to work with such an iconic luxury brand! From the breathtaking ballroom to the high-energy atmosphere, everything about this event was absolutely unforgettable, and I’m excited to take you behind the scenes of what was truly a one-of-a-kind experience.

The Venue: Trump Turnberry’s Iconic Setting

Trump Turnberry is an iconic location, famous for its grandeur and impeccable views of the rugged Ayrshire coastline. DIOR had fully taken over the venue with branding tastefully displayed throughout the hotel. I was DJing in Turnberry’s opulent ballroom which had the most beautiful set-up. With Dior’s signature scent sprayed throughout the room—from the floral arrangements to the candles, to the stage and my DJ booth —every detail reflected the brand’s timeless elegance.

Crafting the Perfect Soundtrack for Dior

For an event like the Dior Beauty Conference, the music had to be just as refined as the setting. Dior represents sophistication, elegance, and class, so I wanted the soundtrack to embody these qualities while also creating an uplifting, lively atmosphere for the attendees.

During dinner, I played a mix of disco and deep house tracks with an air of chic, upbeat sophistication. The goal was to reflect the elegance of the Dior brand while keeping the energy high for the conference guests. Then it was time for dancing, I played a mix of decades and genres to ensure the guests were on the dancefloor all night.

The beauty of DJing at a high-end event like this is finding the balance between setting a mood and allowing the crowd to immerse themselves in the experience. The right music can elevate the energy in the room, whether guests are mingling, simply soaking in the luxurious surroundings or ready to dance!
